What we provide the community:
*The means for local artists and musicians to expose their talents to the community: It is important for our community to see what kind or art and music that is being created within it. It is also a wonderful opportunity to give those looking for exposure an inexpensive and easily accessible outlet to do so.
*Volunteerism: Getting out and active refreshes the soul and emboldens the heart. We wish to provide service opportunities throughout central Minnesota to create more experiences which do just that! We strive to develop and organize networks of volunteers to also work with and support the efforts of other dedicated organizations who are inclined with the same vision of spreading art, music, awareness, and education, furthering a sense of community amongst the non profit sector of central Minnesota.
*Awareness and Education: Working together to create changes in our community also allows us opportunities to address and discuss the issues abroad. The Green Band works towards bringing in documentaries, art galleries, musical performances, and many more experiences which promote awareness towards global, national, and regional issues that affect our world and ourselves.
*A vessel for voices and ideas: The Green Band wishes to be an avenue where deficiencies in our community can easily be communicated and addressed. If an individual wants to spear head an initiative or create a project, we wish to fan their passion while satisfying their needs by using our infrastructure and resources to turn these deficiencies into positive, productive change.
Donations: The Green Band is about creating experiences for the public, and that is exactly what your donations will help generate. Through various fundraising efforts and contributions of any size from people like you, we wish to provide as many "revolutionary experiences" as possible. We strive to make all our events free to the community or as inexpensive as possible.
We are currently in the process of obtaining our 501(c)3 tax exempt status, so all donations are currently not tax deductible.

Long-term Goals:
Music Incubator: We would like to establish a location where musicians have an easily accessible practice studio which also functions as a music venue for them to perform and build a fan base. We would like to see an art gallery within this space to provide more opportunities of exposure for the visual arts. We would also like to see this space utilized for our youth in the community, teaching them play music and create art to develop skills they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
